Senior Ecologist - B.EnvSc (Nat Res Mgt), Accredited Biodiversity Assessor (BAAS18055)
Ian has worked as a consulting ecologist since 2004 and has many years experience in biodiversity assessment in northern NSW. Key areas of interest include vegetation assessment and mapping, identification of threatened plants and spending too much time looking at birds. As an accredited assessor in the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM), Ian has completed many a vegetation plot and has authored numerous Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports (BDARs). Other skills include experience in statutory assessment and environmental planning, bush regneration/restoration and the preparation of specialist reports such as Vegetation Management Plans and Koala Plans of Management.
